It’s been three months since I wrote last. Mainly because my health has been terrible and I have a lot of other things going on. I am happy to report that we finished our year long investigation of one of Western New York’s premier Hotels and this investigation was the best I was ever on.

We have not finished the review for the site and I gave our team until mid July to finish their small assigned reviews before we meet for the team meeting to discuss all that happened. I can divulge some of the hottest evidence that we obtained because there was no disputing what happened.

To start, I would like to thank the Staff and In-keeper of the location. They couldn’t have been more helpful. This location was extremely difficult to investigate because even though the staff helped as much as they could, it was still a very active hotel and it couldn’t be shut down just for us.

For that reason we have been very sceptical of every piece of evidence we got. If their was even the most remote possibility that it was something other than paranormal we completely discounted it regardless of how impressive it was.

To begin, we had three members of the staff ask to join us for the investigation. After the word got out of our discovery of a full body apparition on our last investigation at the site, quite a few staff members wanted in on this one. So we let them attend, but the fun or should I say activity unnerved a couple of them.

To be a bit more specific, the very room that we caught the apparition on video didn’t let us down. The first team to go into the room became frustrated after about 30 minutes of nothing happening. Then they started taunting techniques and it worked.

The first thing that happened was the door to the room banged shut. It was open ever so slightly but there was no draft or even a possibility of one to close the door. This made a few people jump a little until the lights turned on by themselves. Right after that began a flurry of people trying to debunk it all. I was a bit disappointed because that seemed to end the activity.

Fast Forward a couple hours or so. The hotel staff had heard of the activity and decided they would like to go into the room and see for themselves what they could find. Well, I had to laugh because they weren’t in there 10 minutes before you could here a couple of them scream!

I guess the light turned on again and someone said they saw a shadow figure walk through the doorway! This got our team excited and a bunch of our investigators joined them in the room. Sure enough the lights turned on and off by themselves, but even more impressive was the ceiling fan turned itself on, then adjusted its speed as we asked it to do so. When the team asked the spirit to shut the fan off, it did so. I caught this all on video and I know for a fact that no-one was near the controls.

The next impressive evidence was in an office at the top of the building where it has been documented that a person had committed suicide years ago. On our first investigation a year ago we captured an apparent apparition standing outside a third story window waiving to us. We tried everything to debunk it but we couldn’t. This time we had a flashing ball of light in that same window. At times it would stay lit for 2-3 minutes.

One of the staff said it was an outside infrared security light being set off by an animal. So I went outside to debunk it. Having someone at the computer screen, watching the camera in the office, we set of the light several times. Our team member watching the camera told us that no light appeared on screen. When we went up to the office to see where that light could come from, it was obvious that nothing was at a third story level to look like a bright light was visible.

This seems to confirm our previous investigation and the apparition in that area.

Aside from that we got a ton of light anomalies (orbs) and some good EMF readings in some of the rooms. The rest will have to wait for our review to complete.  We expect a lot of evp’s again and I truly believe I caught another full body apparition in another room. Only time will tell if it is actually on video, but I swear I watched it cross the screen at the tech headquarters.

Not all that long ago we did a second investigation at a very prestigious Hotel in WNY. We had all kinds of evidence and even a video of an apparition quickly manifesting and then moving quickly off the camera. We had several personal experiences and we even had objects move. 

The first EVP we had gotten was when one of our investigators asks if the spirit would like us to leave and we got a EVP reply of “YES”.

Then when we didn’t leave quickly enough our member was warned to get by another EVP saying “GET OUT JOHN”.

Later as we were walking around trying to decide which room to investigate we were told by a helpful spirit to “TAKE A LOOK IN THAT ROOM”

All in all it was a very impressive investigation and we are looking forward to our finishing investigation at the hotel in April. That will be a full year of investigating the site. We are going to create and produce a half hour video of the investigation for the owners to show their guests. hopefully they will give us permission to post it here on our site.

The final report of the second investigation is as follows, with the obvious removal of our clients name and location details for their privacy.

Second Investigation Report:

Like the first investigation we arrived about 9:00PM and started to set up equipment.  Linda walked around and scoped out the area for an unusual feelings or sightings.  Around 10PM we started to investigate.  In the up stairs dining room Ford, John, Debbie, and Eric, started asking questions.  First EVP that we got was a voice asking “Why did you do that?”   Then John asked, “Would you like us to leave?”  There was a distinct interaction when the spirit answered a direct question with the answer, “Yes”  Shortly after you can hear another EVP saying “Get out John”  This is highly unusual and very interesting to have the spirit interact in this manner.

We then moved to the basement locker room where we picked up another EVP.  A mocking voice said “Yeah then we came here.” 

In the upstairs office we asked if it could give us a sign.  It replied, “Yeah”, and the tri field meter spiked just then.  My recorder picked up “ Take a look in that room.”  Pertaining to Linda going toward the small storage area.  Then we heard “times up, why do that?”   One more EVP was captured in the upstairs office says “Yeah it’s possible, Yes” after Ford asked if it would help us?  It is a distinct male voice.

We then went to room 206.  Upon entering we got an EVP saying  “ I’m not home”.  Then we heard a voice saying “Go away” three times in quick succession.  Then strangely enough and none of us ever heard this happen before there is a distinct Heavy Howl followed by “Help Me”.  Then OK?

The camera positions were as follows:

1.)    downstairs locker room

2.)    upstairs dining room at top of stairs

3.)    1^st floor fireplace room

4.)    main dining room

Video evidence:

Camera 1 showed significant light anomalies heading up through the ceiling to the camera 2 location.

Camera 2 shows multiple orbs and a full body apparition that seems to form on the floor and moves up to form the white outline of a person.  When it starts to move form left to right an arm is clearly visible.  This is an outstanding catch.

 Camera 4 showed possible shadow person and anomalies along wall by the windows.  Ford also saw a shadow walk from the main dining room towards the front door and walk down into the basement.  It was about 3 feet high and could possibly be a child.  This was a personal sighting and cannot be verified on film but we thought it was note worthy.

There were numerous personal experiences reported by our crew, but we try to only give you those that we can document.

We would like to thank the Innkeeper for her continued support, and for her outstanding hospitality while WNYPRG did our investigation.  This is truly one of the most impressive spots we have ever done.  It continues to amaze us.  Thanks also to the staff, who were very helpful and gracious.  We hope to keep a continuing rapport with the staff and management of your lovely establishment.

We at WNYPRG  have started looking for and booking new investigations for the upcoming season. We have already booked some and are currently in  the process of following up on some very prestigious locations here in Western New York.

Among some of the new investigations is a virgin location in South Bristol NY. We are scheduled to spend a night at a location there on the 21st of February and we now have a couple more leads in that township. I expect that we will have 2-3 more investigations in South Bristol NY very soon.

Anyway our current client in South Bristol has allowed me to put up some of the evidence we found in our pre-investigation review of the site. This particular site has been reported as having several people experience loud foot steps as if someone is walking in the building but it is locked up and their is only one person present. This has been reported by at least four different people and we are told that recently the location had two people fixing the heating system in the basement when they heard footsteps above them as if someone had walked into the building.

Upon hearing the footsteps the workers went upstairs to investigate and found that no-one was there. The doors were shut tight and locked. Apparently they took some pictures of the work they were doing in the basement and caught a mist in the picture.

They claim that there is a face in the picture above but I’m not so convince it is actually paranormal. I’m far more impressed with the actual mist they caught here.

Next we took this picture of a face in a window.

The face above is impressive. It was caught while I was just snapping away without looking at what I was taking pictures of.

The final picture is of an actual shadow figure. I think this is the best picture of a shadow figure that I have ever seen. It even looks as if it is Darth Vader from Star Wars with a broom handle that was ultra illuminated by the camera flash.

The shadow figure is to the right of the photo, you can’t miss him. All in all we are looking forward to the upcoming investigation and we are still looking for more. So if you think you may have a haunting then please contact us and we would be happy to talk with you about it.

I just want to say sorry to all our readers for not posting lately. We have finished several investigations over the last 3 months and are in the process of reviewing all the evidence.

In fact, several of our clients are waiting patiently for their own results and we are working diligently to get the review done as quickly and efficiently as possible. Once we are finished we need to get the clients permission to post evidence that we have found. Because of our confidentiality agreements we don’t post evidence without their permission.

That being said, I expect to be able to post video evidence of what we feel is a full apparition and lots of EVP’s. The apparition is impressive and if you ask me it ranks right up there with those famous ones caught by TAPS and Ghost Adventures on TV. We also have dozens of impressive light anomalies (Orbs) for everyone to discuss and argue about.

Saturday November 8th we had the opportunity to go on-board the USS The Sullivan’s and conduct an investigation. It was a lot of fun for everyone involved. The weather didn’t cooperate and it rained like cats and dogs but thankfully the investigation was deep inside the ship. Next to the ship was the USS Little Rock and their was a sleep over for the Boy Scouts of America. A lot of kids were roaming around until about 10pm but after that all, was quiet. The pre-investigation report was as follows:

Reports of apparitions all over the ship. Reports of strange noises and things moving about from staff and visitors to the ship. A picture of George Sullivan hangs in the Wardroom (officers eating room) and is said to rarely come out properly when pictures are taken of it. People swear they hear their names called and they hear people walking behind them but no-one is there.

There is even a recent report of a Navy Officer in full dress uniform giving a couple a tour of the ship. The couple supposedly came back to the ship to thank the Officer but no-one was ever on-board the day they came. Also their isn’t a single Navel Officer on staff to give any kind of tours.

We just finished this investigation this past weekend and we are three investigation behind on reviewing evidence right now. So I’m not so sure when we will get to it all and get it up on the site. I can say that we have three evp’s and a video clip showing strong responses on our trifield emf meter. We asked several questions and the spirit responded to them by moving the meter needle very strongly.

At least one spirit is attached to a Navel Park staff member. He is a retired Senior Cheif Petty Officer and when he accompanied us on the investigation we got a lot of our evidence for the night. Up until that it was fairly slow.  As I said before we have a lot of review to do. We ran 4 Sony night vision security cameras with a DVR system, 3 digital voice recorders with the security cameras, 2 hand held digital night shot video cameras, several regular cameras, at least four other digital voice recorders that team members carried with them and the notes from each person need to be reviewed and compared to evidence recovered from the investigation.

All our investigations run the same equipment so you can see why it takes so long for us to complete the review process.

Anyway, please bare with us, we should be getting some evidence posted in the next week or two.

One of my main criticisms in researching paranormal claims are the presence of Orbs. I’m not a big believer that orbs actually exist and that they represent the electromagnetism or collective presence of spirit energy. I know a lot of people will disagree and are adamant that orbs actually exist.

Since we have been investigating our group gets a wide variety of abnormal light anomalies that some would call Orbs. In fact some are quite impressive. I however, will not agree that an Orb actually exists unless their is extreme evidence of other kinds of activities that are present and recordable. I figured that I should perhaps put up a few pictures and see what you think about them. Don’t be shy, tell us what you think of these pictures.

The first one is from a Hotel in East Aurora. You can see a reported Orb next to the TV. We also had EMF anomalies next to that area that moved around the room. What do you think? Orb or no Orb?

Next, in the corner of the same room we got this picture.

While sitting in the hallway we got an EVP. When we looked at the pictures from that area there was this light anomaly. Is it a legitimate Orb?

We then moved into another room. Once again we got some light anomalies. Are they Orbs?

In our final room we caught this. Is it a legitimate Orb?

All the previous pictures depict definite light anomalies. I can’t say they are legitimate Orbs. I really am not convinced of any of them. I only give the one in the hallway any validity because of the EVP we caught with it. That doesn’t mean I’m right or wrong. It’s only my opinion.

This next picture takes the cake. I have to admit I was taken a back when I saw it. This is probably the closest I think I can get to calling a light anomaly a true Orb. It has depth and it was caught while moving from one spot to another. It definitely wasn’t an insect and our sensitive member in the building had feelings that a spirit was with us and another spirit was upstairs.

As you can see a bigger light anomaly in the corner of the door frame. I’m interested in the other light anomaly in the middle of the door frame. as you can see it was moving, had a distinct center and is much brighter than the others I posted.

I don’t know what to think about Orbs. I do hope you share your thoughts with us here on our site, perhaps some of you can convince me one way or the other..

Although it has been a few weeks since our investigation at a Hamburg home we are still in the process of evaluating all our material and evidence.

Our group is trying very hard to get this review finished but we have investigations coming in quicker than we can review the evidence. With that in mind, I have no problem giving some sample evidence we have found. This picture was captured in the Hamburg home we investigated. One of the reported spirits was a young woman who has been desperately trying to reach out to her family. We believe this may be a picture of her.

This picture was captured with an infra-red night vision camera. If you look closely at the picture you should be able to distinguish a face and possibly a dress or even wings for those who believe in angels. Its all speculative but this is just one piece of evidence we found. Some of the other evidence was cups moving, evp’s and hand/finger prints in powder traps. Stay tuned for more.

Sunday September 28th WNYPRG continued its investigation of one of Western New York’s most prestigious restaurant/hotels. Our last time here resulted in several EVP’s, pictures of orbs, strange noises, unexplained flashes, feelings of dread and possible shadows caught on film.

This time out we arrived at 9pm and began setting up equipment. It was much more difficult because their was a lot of activity inside the restaurant and it was open mic night and one particular group of four people didn’t want to leave. Fortunately they left at midnight but that pretty much did in the investigation for the room they occupied. For the rest of the building the setup went smooth and we were investigating by 10pm.

Reports from the management had been more of the obvious, doors opening, noises in rooms, items being moved and feelings of uneasiness in various parts of the building. Since this hotel has been around for a long time, it has had suicides and war related deaths associated with the property. During the early part of the last century the basement was used as a make shift temporary graveyard during the winter months because their was only a dirt floor at the time. Their are also reports of customers leaving at all hours of the day and night because of paranormal activity. Further reports of objects moving, strange noises, doors opening and closing by themselves, feelings of dread, and appearances of shadow people.

During the investigation we experienced many anomalies that were classified as personal experiences. They ranged from light headedness, hair standing up on our arms and necks and our gifted members had some other feelings and experiences. We even had reports of visible orbs and they may have been captured on video and we expect to have possibly caught notebooks and keys move.

I was present for EMF meter fluctuations that corresponded with questions being answered. the funniest part of the night was when we allowed three young staff members to hang around with our investigators for an hour or two and when things started to heat up the looks on their faces was priceless. I guarantee you they will never go into some areas alone there ever again. LOL!!

I expect our analyzation to last a month or two like last time and I also expect to have a lot more evidence to share with you. That evidence that does get shared can only do so with the permission of the management of the hotel so we’ll see how it goes. Stay tuned for more, we have 2-3 more big hot investigations upcoming in the next month or two.

Last night our group did a home investigation in Hamburg. It was a difficult investigation because of the bad weather. It was very hard to distinguish the various sounds in the house due to the high winds outside. Never-the-less we did the invesigation and the pre-investigation report is as follows:

1.) Report of cold spots that travel through the house and don’t stay stationary for very long.  

2.) Feelings of being watched.

3.) Reports of being touched and feelings that a person has just walked past and no-one is there.

4.) Residents swear that they saw a person out of the corner of their eye and no-one is there.

5.) Reports of seeing someone on the up-stairs staircase and able to hear loud footsteps going up and down the staircase but no-one is there.

6.) TV in basement and other electronic devices turning on by themselves.

7.) Some-one walking across the 2nd floor hallway when no-one else is home and resident is downstairs during the event.

8.)  Things move around from time to time.

We began setup of the investigation at about 7pm and began investigating by 9pm. We included 4 camera traps and used baby powder and cups to try and catch movement in the house. We also had the various temp gauges, EMF detectors and several audio recorders and cameras.

Although we aren’t anywhere near complete with the analysis of the investigation, I can report that we had 3 of the 4 cups move in the baby powder and we also had 1 hand print and a few finger prints in the baby powder. We also caught several well formed orbs that hung around and didn’t just fly off the screen. One camera also caught the form of something that may be a spirit manifesting. It is reported to have a distinct face of a young female. 

The review of the information gathered from this investigation is on-going and I will post as much evidence as possible in the coming days.
